Where Men Win Glory

The book started out to be about the main character Pat Tillman in his younger days as a boy. He was born in California and was raised there too he was very athletic kid. Started playing baseball at the age of seven and became very good at it, so good that he got picked for an allstar team. When he got to high school as a freshman and wanted to try out for the team he knew and other around him new that he was good enough for varsity but the coach said he wouldn't be on varsity. So he quit baseball and turned towards football which everyone thought was a mistake, the football coach said wouldn"t make it wasn't built for football and Pat said he would start lifting weights. They still said he wouldn't make it but he knew he could and couple years later he was a star linebacker playing in the Rose Bowl championship.
