Pats high school football career is amazing, from starting out and people sayong he wouldn't make it to being the best player on the team. Going into his senior year of high school he finally got some size to him. He stood five feet eleven inches tall weighing one-hundred ninety five pounds with massive legs and chiseled upper body. But his senior year in football went great the team did so well it made it to the Cental Coast Section championships which is really good since California is so big. But at the end of the CCS championships the team won nine out of the ten games and at the end their team won the championships which is a great accomplishment. At the end Pats stats were, he caught twenty seven passes, twelve of them were for touchdowns, and averaged 25.7 yards per reception. Pat also ran the ball into the end zone for another fourteen touchdowns and averaged 10.9 yards per carry as a rusher. The book now goes more into depth on describing Pat and his brothers when they were kids, before they were in school. Pat was one of the younger brothers in his family, him and his brother got along well with each other. They were always outside playing whenever they got a chance. And when they were inside they would still be playing around wrestling with each other. The brothers were all athletic did not like sitting around being lazy and watching TV. They were raised well by their parents tought them good morals, as childern almost no subjects were off limits, the children and parents had a very good relationship with each other.

John K

I already know that the book is about a man who is a football player and gives up his career for the military. I think while he is over fighting in the war that he gets injured and what he has to do to recover from it. I also think that the media is going to use this incident about him as a great sign of patriatism.
